I have had 2 people on imamother ask me in just the past week if there are really frum Jews in Albany (where I live)
For the record:
There is a frum Jewish community in Albany, NY (as well as surrounding areas)
There is a frum Jewish community in Buffalo, NY
There is a frum Jewish community in Rochester, NY
There is a frum Jewish community in Syracuse, NY
These communities have, for the most part, Orthodox Shuls (yes, with separate seating), eruvim, mikvahs, day schools, va'ads, etc.
There is Jewish life outside of NYC!

It's like some Americans think there are only frum Jews in London, Antwerp and Zurich. And maybe frei Jews in Manchester, Paris and Vienna.

I know there are frum Jews in Paris, Vienna, and Manchester. My uncle's father was a Rav in Paris until recently! I even visited Paris when I was 3 years old and drank negel vasser water cuz I was thirsty in the middle of the night.
