Its something like facebook. You have followers and you can be a follower, your followers can see what you post and can add there comments to it.
In order to get your follower the follower sends a request to be your follower and you can either accept her as a follower or not.
You can also post comments so only a selected group of followers will see.

Bookworm - you get asked if you want to accept the person as a Follower. Just click on "No"

I also wanted to get rid of the feature, but haven't figured out if it's possible yet

Sherri wrote: | What if I want to get rid of that feature completely? Can I? | I found it. All the way on the bottom of the page, underneath the Inbox, there are a few lines of text. The one second to the bottom has a few features- one option is "Turn off Buzz". Press it! Voila! And you can turn it back on if wanted. It only removes Buzz from your view, though. I think. I am still trying to figure out how to totally remove it.

Apparently they realised that people were very upset, and added the option to opt out.

Thanks, Sherri. I was wondering how to turn it off.

Again- I think that turning it off only hides it from your view. If you really want out, you gotta unfollow your followers and those you are following, clear out your profile and make sure that you are not able to be found in a search, and then turn it off.

I think it's a load of rubbish. A couple of pple on the buzz list I seemed to get landed with made a couple of posts. No one seemed to answer, and so now it's gone very quiet. I can't be bothered with it. I barely read it and write absolutely nothing on it. It'll probably peter out.
