I want to bring back with me for me and a friend, frozen pizza. You can't compare the american pizza to the pizza here. It's so different. I was thinking of buying the frozen kind, but I've had some that were not that great at all because if I ever bought it, I only bought it on sale. Which one do you think is the best or do you think I should just buy from a pizza store and freeze it myself? Do you know which way it comes out cheaper? TIA

We like Mendelsohn's Frozen Pizza the best.

Frozen pizza is cheaper, and most pizza stores like Amnons and Mendlesohns sell boxes of frozen pizza in every grocery store. Buying fresh from the store is much more expensive.

that sounds interesting. now I have to see if we have any of those here. probably not now. our only kosher store starts preparing for pesach before purim. we can't buy anything. it's really quite annoying.

Another Amnon's fan here. We don't get the ww reduced fat, just ww or red. fat. I usually buy the red. fat because there's not much difference between the two in the fiber department and I'd rather have less fat. It's amazing how the taste isn't compromised with the red. fat. Actually, I just had some for lunch!

We don't get Mendelson's so I don't know what I'm missing.

Making your own pizza is so easy

1tbsp yeast
2.5 cups flour
1.5 cups warm water
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup oil (or applesauce)

Rise for 10 minutes

Add sauce - A tsp of oregano mixed in a cup of tomato sauce

Top with shredded mozerella cheese

Bake for 16-20min @ 400
