No where in Monsey. The city or maybe Crossroads Sheraton.

Sheraton crossroads is a 10+ minute drive from Monsey. There are not 'attractions' really, but there are hotel lobbies right over in NJ. Not sure what kind of date he wants.

A few things that come to mind:

Outdoors:
Bear Mountain (about 20 minutes north of Monsey)
Van Saun Park (about 20 minutes southeast of Monsey)

Hotels:
Woodcliff Lake Hilton (10-15 minutes)
Sheraton Crossroads (though it's very easy to get lost going there and leaving)
Park Ridge Marriott (10-15 minutes)
Pearl River Hilton (15 minutes)

Other Indoor Activities:
Palisades Mall (though it closes at 7 on Sundays if I recall correctly). They have a Barnes and Noble
New Roc City (Indoor sports activities) in New Rochelle

Teaneck is a closer option than NYC for going out to eat.

Purple Pear is nice but not very quite if hes looking for a nice quiet place go to Teaneck there are alot of nice restaraunts there. If its not a first date and if hes not chasiddush maybe they can go to Palisades and watch a movie or something.
