I had tons of Pesach leftovers last night. I was planning to serve them again and again till Shabbos. When I woke this morning they had all disappeared. Obviously somebody in my house would rather sandwiches and cereal for a few days than see Yom Tov food again. Ah well, I was pretty sick of it all myself.

Instead of going on strike or making your family fend for themselves, whynot treat yourself to a manicure or outing ?

After Tishre, I posted a Moms night Out with music and a few Imamothers came.

I just read that in the US at least, April 7 is No Housework Day.
So when I saw the strike, and 2 day thing, my first thought was, aha, April 7 AND yom tov sheini shel galus!

Exactly my plan. NO ONE in my family wants to look at chicken tonight, and I'm NOT cooking anything major either after all this cooking, cleaning and laundry.....
(p.s. it's my birthday as well...)
