Famous Pita is on Foster and Coney Island Ave. Another great idea for well-priced awesome food is Shnitzi between Ave.s I and J on Coney Island Ave. Its a shnitzel bar, and they HUGE shnitzel sandwiches and HUGE shnitzel salads (I generally dont finish my portion). You can choose from a number of sauces and dressings. We enjoy going there for quick good food!!

Shnitzis are opening up a branch in BP on NU corner 54!!!!!!!!!

I can't wait!!! a decent fleishig place where I can eat lunch....

We'll miss them Sad

KD has combo specials and delivers for free now, like the chinese place. I guess the economy made them accomidate people. But who likes KD compared to Glatt Kosher Family. Sad

KD isn't as good..... chinese didn't want to deliver to me, I guess I don't live in BP!!!! Chinese has a very good lunch menu pricing....

went by carlos and gabbies this afternoon- closed due to a "gas leak"

I was there once, I liked the food but my husband dosn't go for mexican so we rotate between the 18th ave chinese, shwarma and every once in a blue moon shnitzis....

Would you believe that with the traffic in bp, the shnitzi in flatbush is probably closer for me.

I have heard great things about carlos and gabby but I don't really go for mexican flavors so I never went.

I actually like kosher delight better in certain aspects (like sesame chicken, general chow, broccoli chicken in white sauce) but they raised their prices so much that it's practically 20 bucks for a chinese dish. In happy family, a combo platter is about ten bucks. Big difference if your looking for a convenient cheap meal and not looking for a nice night out (which kd wouldn't be anyway).

Carlos and Gabby's started in the Five Towns I believe. Their Brooklyn location is on Coney Island Ave bet J and K. (I personally dont love their food, its too mexican for my taste.)
