I'm looking for a pediatric dermatologist in New York. I know that most dermatologists will see children but I want a dr.--and the office staff and environment to be child-friendly.
Anyone have a suggestion?
And we currently have health insurance through GHI.

Dr. Kimberly Morel at Columbia (NYP)
It takes months and months to get an appointment. It's worth the wait. Once you are an "established patient" you get the whole of Columbia derm at your disposal. She is a pediatric derm.

I don't think it's worth the wait if your kid is suffering in the interim--no matter how wonderful she is!

Agreed. Don't wait.
1. Make appointment with Dr. Morel (mark on calendar for end of summer  )
2. Call around and see Dr. Whomever in the interim.
3. If you are not satisfied with your treatment, keep appointment with Dr. Morel.
4. If you are satisfied with the first Dr, cancel appt with Dr. Morel.
See? not so bad....

Dr. Marvin Snow he is with maimonides, excellent, he has been in the field for years.

I don't know where ur located but Dr. Strenger in Monsey is fantastic and has a very kid-friendly office (and even a separate room decorated just for children!). 845-352-7546.
