Twins both have mumps!!!

My twins age 15 months both came down with mumps!!!! Anyone know how long the pain, crankiness and all that takes? What can I do that the other family members shouldn't get it?? OH I have loads of questions!!! Wow wow wow they didnt stop crying yet and I dont think it's fair to get people to help me know I dont want them to get it either!! Any advice?? Chizuk needed!!!

apparently, the mumps went around in Israel about 20 or so years ago. Try to find someone who was in EY then and had it. Then she can help you.

I don't think it's unusual that both children have mumps. I'lll bet that chicken pox will be the same thing; or one will give it to the other.

If you can get your hands on sodium ascorbate (buffered vitamin C), if you dose them until bowel tolerance, it can get rid of symptoms in as little as a day or two. (Vitamin C is tasteless in most doses in grape juice or orange juice.)
