my 4 month old has had thrush a few times since he's born. lately he has had one or two blisters as well (not thrush, just larger raised circles). he now has what looks like a maze on his tongue, some spots are whtie and some are clear.
I've heard abot something referred to as a maze tongue (I think). can anyone help me with this?

Is it perhaps a geographic tongue?
It's nothing serious--a total manageable condition.
I have one--as do several family members.
PM me if you want.

My 13 year old son has always had a geographic tongue. He had thrush on and off for the first 7 months of his life. I never knew there was any treatment for it. He's fine now and we joke about it!

I have a dd with a geographic tongue. We haven't been told to do anything for it. She was prone to thrush as a baby, but I never realized it was related to her geographic tongue. She inherited it from my sisters-in-law.
