Among all my friends, it seems that noone gets paid for Jewish holidays. It simply comes out of your allowance for paid annual leave (somewhere between 20 - 25 days/year depending on your level and how long you've been in company). So some years you're left with very little annual leave unfortunately.

I know a couple of people who work for a firm that was originally jewish owned and they do get Yamim Nora'im off in addition to annual leave.

I am also paid by the hour and the law in Israel is that my employer must pay me for Jewish YT and for Yom HaAtzmaut. I was thrilled to find that out!

No--why would I? I don't work for a jewish company. I get all legal holidays, some of which happen to be Christian religious days that everyone denies are religious in nature. That's fine--I can't clean house on my own holidays, but I can clean house on Christian holidays.

Days off for Yom Tovim come out of my vacation days. Inasmuch as I was first hired in September and Rosh hashana was Sept. 30, I had to take time off without pay for all the Yom Tovim. It didn't make a good impression that I was constantly taking days off when I had only been on the job for a few weeks, but there was nothing I could do.

I use my vacation days. so I get paid because it is paid vacation. But that uses up about 3 weeks so there goes all my vacation days.

Nope - I am a therapist and work for an agency - I get paid per deim - so when I work - I get paid. When I dont work (for whatever reason - holiday, kid is sick, student is sick) - I dont get paid....

I use vacation days, so yes.

I only get 12 vacation days a year, so its rough. Luckily, I can get comp time for overtime. Also if I need extra, I can take days unpaid. Coming January I get 15 days vacation and I am sooooo excited.
