| I have done so for family simchos and before my own wedding, it looks so nice but it's an extra expense. I wish I could afford to do it more often.

| Most people don't need it but I know some girls with VERY hairy arms and if I had arms like that would probably consider it myself. I don't think it's really common or necessary for people with a regular amount or length armhair.

Most people I know wax their arms, whether they have a lot of hair or a little, light or dark. I guess it depends on your circles...

Many young(er) women I know shave under their arms. Shaving or waxing the arm itself?? Never heard of it. _________________

I know some people who do it - only because they have lots of thick, dark hair and don't like the way it looks.
I have thinner, lighter hair on my arms, and so never considered it for myself.

I know that the place I go for waxing, etc. has a "full arm wax" listed so I knew that yes, people including females do it.
If I had hairy arms, I'd probably be self-conscious and do it. _________________ "You can say this for ready-mixes - the next generation isn't going to have any trouble making pies exactly like mother used to make." ~Earl Wilson

| I really should have it done. The hair on my arms is not horrendous, but I also have hair on my hands (past the wrist in a make pattern). I really should do something about it b/c I'm very self conscious of it. But a. I really can't afford it, b. I'm scared of waxing, and c. I know that I won't be on top of it and then it will look nasty growing in...

I know that people do it. I personally think the waxed look (on the arms) is very plastic-looking.
A little hair on ones arms looks most natural. Although I could understand why a very hairy girl might want to wax it.

B'h
1. What is so itellectual about that
2. Every HEALTHY mammal, human, has hair all over their body except palms of hands a soles of feet. Just some are more noticable in some areas, then others and though men have more then women as long as the women is human she is bound to have too .
Now I say this is getting intellectual

I used to. But now I don't care. My hair gets bleached in the sun anyway.
Plus, I think that after doing it for a year or so the hair is much lighter.
