When my kids are refusing all drinks, even things they don't normally get like juice or ice pops, then it's time to whip out the big guns so to speak.

Get a medicine dropper like the ones for motrin or that you can buy at the pharmacy. Fill it up. Hold your baby, stick it (gently) in the side of the mouth and squirt. Repeat this several times each hour, making sure your baby is getting a few ounces an hour.

This will not be fun. It never is at our house but our pediatrician said, "It's better than the ER right?" It'll keep baby hydrated and bring down the fever.

Refuah sheleima.

Watermelon is good because it is full of liquid.

Don't worry so much about the eating. Drinking is far more important. Hang in there! I'm sure she'll be all better asap.

I was also told by the hospital to do what tehilla says also that way u can monitor the amount of liquid they are having, I was told to give 10ml of pedialite ~(can mix with juice or squash or something they like, I dont know if u can get an original flavour there but in the uk u can) and to give it every ten mins.
