as of now my husband is having 2 weeks vacation in the summer. we want to go somewhere we can rent a house with a private pool with some touristy things in the neighborhood. Kosher food and facilities is a great plus. any ideas where we can go?

are you in the NY Tristate area?
There are places in Cape Cod (frum shul in Onset)
There are places in New Hampshire (frum shul in Bethlehem?)
There are places in Lake George.
There are places near Niagara Falls.
You can rent a summer home in any of those places--or in the Poccono Mountains.
But do tell us where you are.

How about San Diego? Its beautiful and gorgeous weather. There are a few kosher restaurants and there are a bunch of exciting things to do around there.

LA, Lake George, the Jersey Shore, the Poconos is absolutely beautiful, the Rockies. I'm off to Florida next week, btw. I'll come visit you another time. How far do you want to travel??

I don't know.... prefer to keep tickets under 1000.
I wouldn't mind just staying in Monsey or somewhere in a Jewish neighborhood but the house with a private pool is a must.

What about that house that someone posted with the umpteen amount of rooms and all that land? It had a pool. Weren't they renting it for a summer home or something? You wouldn't have to pay for any tickets.
