Going to be in Brooklyn next week for the day and need to head to the Man with the Truck (if he still exists). Could anyone give me an address and the nearest public transportation stop? Does he still carry stuff like cheap velvet yarmulkes and tzitzis, robes and such?

No, we are driving -- which could be worse!
I am not sure at which friends home we are staying, so the nearest subway station or bus lines that run nearby would be great. I am comfortable with using public transportation in NYC but I haven't been to BP on it in over a decade...

there is the d train, stops on NU., there is a bus which runs right there, don't know which one though. call the MTA, they can help you, or use google maps and do public transportation option.
