Any advice on holding a yard sale in Brooklyn in Midwood?

Have people helping you so that you can keep an eye on the merchandise. I once read an article about how the seller was busy making change and bagging stuff, and when she turned around some of the items for sale had disappeared.

Also, price items realistically. I've been to yard sales where the prices are so high (almost retail) and nobody was interested in buying. If it's so expensive, people would rather go to a store where there's a refund policy. If you want things to move, price accordingly.

Good luck.
