PSA: I just seem to notice spelling errors and then/ than is the most common one, I would like to clarify once and for all the difference:
THEN-in sequence, happening after another; I will first knead the dough and THEN bake it.
THAN-used in comparison; greater THAN; My house is larger THAN yours.
Woman/ Women
Woman is singular
Women is plural
Just thought I would like to throw those out.
If anyone has any to add, please feel free.
I hope I didn't offend anyone, just trying to clarify it once and for all.

Why does OP need to be amother? Trying to improve the writing skills of amothers is an admirable, if not a successful, goal. I wish you luck...grammar skills are few & far between for some amothers, & not all are ESL posters. Many just didn't have the zchus to have me as their English teacher (although some of you did!)

Use "its" when saying that "it" possesses something. Just like "his" and "hers" do not have apostrophes, neither does "its".
Example: "I wanted to return the dress, but I had already thrown away its tag".
Use "it's" when combining "it" and "is" into one word.
