I just found a great website with a lot of TV series and so I would like to know what people are enjoying watching now a days.
Or some old shows that you liked that maybe I can find on this site as well.

You might find some DVDs in your public library, but I recommend:

Upstairs, Downstairs. (Be careful, there are some untznius storylines.)
Road to Avonlea

Upstairs, Downstairs is a British Series from the 1970s, which takes place between 1903 and 1930. It contrasts the lives of the "upstairs" family of the upper class and the "downstairs" servants. Of course, the downstairs stories are a lot more interesting.

Road to Avonlea is a childhood favourite of mine. I seem to remember it being pretty family friendly, but you still may want to be careful about this.

Royal Pains is a dr with a big heart working for the wealthy in the Hamptons

Psyche is a guy with a photographic memory who claims he is a pychic and helps the police solve crimes

Covert Affairs is the girl next door working for the CIA

Rizzoli & Isles is a cop and ME who work together to solve crimes

Current shows I'd recommend, available on Hulu:
Comedies -- Modern Family or Community
Cop shows -- Castle or Bones (yay, Joss Whedon alums)
Sci-fi/Action -- Chuck or Fringe (VERY VERY VERY different in tone!!! Chuck is an over-the-top spy comedy, Fringe is mind-blowing sci-fi with a melancholy mood and occasional humor)

thanks. I mentioned earlier that I am in israel, so hulu is not an option for me, but I will check out these shows on the site that I just found.

I have a good site http://watch-series.com/s I found when I was post op and unable to do anything. It works here unlike hulu...

I found cooking competition shows to be entertaining without too much s*x and most of the profanities are bleeped out.

Top Chef was okay as well iirc.

The show 'Better off Ted' there are only 2 seasons but we found them sooo funny!
The 2 seasons are on netflix and if you loved it like we did, please sign the petition to get ABC to bring it back!
