Tefila, what Jewish shows are there? I have never heard of any and there are times I am not well enough to do much and though we have always been a TV free home (and would like to keep it that way) I need distraction to keep my spirits up.

the apprentice is great show, with donald trump, the celeberty apprentice show was much better.

really? We hated the celebrity version and now watching again since it isn't celebrity... The celebrity one was all about selling themselves, who's the biggest celebrity, and who had more contacts with more $.

Same here, so glad they are doing regular people now.

I heard the next lot is going to be back to celeb, so I guess we will enjoy this one while we can!

I second better off ted- very funny and not the same rehashed humor all the sitcoms have.
We watch How I met your mother, which is funny, some seasons are really good, others are so-so - not super tznius in any way shape or form.
House, (but that's more of a show I watch with DH).
My guilty pleasure is the amazing race. I live the adventure and compotition and I like to see all the interesting places these people go to. And I don't like reality shows generally.
There are women wearing skimpy clothes but the atmosphere is usually wholesome.

If one really feels they need to watch something even though Jewish wise right now there are lots.
Then why not watch documentary's I heard that cbs news online has some What
um, I am the OP, this is in the entertainment section and im not sure why this has to get controversial. My original post was just that, asking what people are enjoying watching...........not specifically jewish or not.

word of warning: I went to youtube to watch amazing race season 16, coudnt find the end of episode 1 clicked on a link to watch the rest of it - and wham, bam, the nonexistent site gave me avirus, shut down my laptop, it cost me $150 to fix! Dont go around looking for any other sites to watch shows on, theese places are riddled with viruses.

I said the same thing when my friend intorduced me to it- but it happens to be the only show of its caliber which deals with spirituality. I think a lot of women here would relate to the characters on that show. I know I do.
