5 spice oven fried chicken
a la Family Circle
panko bread crumbs
Chinese 5 spice powder
salt to taste
honey
lemon juice
chicken
Heat oven to 450 and spray baking pan. Combine 1 1/2 cup panko or other bread crumbs, 1 tsp spice powder, and salt if using. Add 1/4 cup honey and 1 T warm water to mix. Then add 1 T lemon juice.
Dip each piece of chicken in mixture and place in pan. Bake about 15 minutes, then spritz with Pam or similar & then bake another 30 minutes or until done.

I make every single recipe before I post it. It was excellent, and a few friends said they made it and liked it too.

I was wondering about the Chinese 5 spice too. Which brand is kosher?

You can easily make it yourself, but I buy mine in the spice aisle of any grocery. Has an OU on it.
If you don't think your use will justify a purchase; just use a mixture of cinnamon and ginger. That's fine.
