We live in Flatbush now and are considering moving to the 5 towns. But we don't know anyone there! We have a small amount of experience with Woodmere, and are looking for a slightly more yeshivish community. Offhand, we're thinking Lawrence and Far Rockaway - correct us if we're wrong.
We'd like to find shul for us first, and was wondering if anyone could recommend a small, heimishe shul, in a yeshivish area. We're the warm and friendly type.

You might get more responses if you posted somewhere that allowed anonymity. Some people don't like to give away where they live.

we just left far rockaway, davened in shor yoshuv. its very warm, welcoming heimish, not very small though.
