I need a camera, for making home videos, but it should also take pics. I am very amateur at photography. As I see a new camera, I use only 2 buttons - switch on and take a pic! And I skip all the settings..
Because if I start hanging settings, it only gets worse.
So, what can you recommend me?

Kodak Easy share digital cameras are idiot proof, and very easy for beginners. Most have a video function too.

Ok I am not idiot. I have owned digital cameras before. I am not really impressed with videos made on a regular digital camera.Maybe I need a device where video is a primary function, not video. I don't know.
I guess I just want other woman to share what they have, if they have different cameras for pictures and videos, or only for pictures.

I really like the Canon SD 1300 IS. Takes nice pics and is user friendly.
There are updated versions out now, too. I also think if you can, you should go into a store and see what you like.

B&H website is useful and you can order if you find something you like. Steve's digicams is also a good website with useful reviews and info.
