first of all one of my most moving movies was "fiddler on the roof" it just porttrayed so much of the past yiddish lifestyle that I wish they would have more of these. Also "I am sam" is really inspiring I also was touched with "the persuit of happyness". what else were others here inspired by?

The Children of An Lac. A real tear jerker and it's based on a true story. You can watch on Hulu for free.

I'm told this movie made many BTs. It's very depressing, and kinda stereotypical, and there are one or two untznius scenes in the beginning, but it IS moving and touching.

Terms of endearment is a real tear jerker but I wasn't impressed with all the cheating going on. My personal favorite is Keith. Kid of teenagery, and with one love scene. The goal is 'be true to yourself'. It will make u cry

I'll third that! I love that movie, it's so sweet.
And pumpernickle, I always cry when I see Titanic. I would think it's weird NOT to.

nice and easy:
Terms of endearment is about a husband who cheats on his wife, his wife cheats on him and then the wife dies. I just don't call that inspirational.
Keith is the name of a movie. It's great.

I don't think I cried, but I saw it a long time ago. The reason why I might not have cried was because I thought Leonardo DeCaprio acted really poorly, so it didn't move me.
