What kind of stuff would you put in a monthly family newsletter (siblings only)? We live spread out and I was inspired by one of the publications (binah or mishpacha cant remmember) to start a newsletter but I dont know what to include. Anyone out there doing this? Can you guide me? Also is there a program suitable for this besides microsoft publisher?

my daughter started a newsletter 6 months ago. we write in it together. typical features that we've had:
top ten. top ten reasons we didn't have Succah Decorations. ten worst restaurants in our city. 10 reasons our ac is still not fixed. top ten songs and so on.
hp of the month. hashgachah pratis.
there's an editorial every month.
pictures with captions.
column with small news stories of what happened in the family.
seen and heard column with interesting/cute comments.
a day in the life of a family member
interview with family member
We have a lot of fun with it. Good luck!

We use word, but it's really not great. There's Newsletter, and Adobe Illustrator. but they're complicated, and take some time to learn
