Anyone was diagnosed with this condition and knows of an older child or adult that didn't perform surgery because I am concerned about the looks? I am skeptical about surgery (just for the looks), since medically no surgery is necessary. Any info will be appreciated. TIA

Are you sure it's just for the looks? What I've read seems to imply that there cna be long term vision and brain damage problems from failure to do the surgery. I guess it might depend on when the suture closed. How old is your baby?

Hi! I know this was posted 7 years ago!! but I would really like to know what u did in the end! Facing the same issue, need to decide about surgery for mainly a cosmetic issue...
