Is it normal or common for kids to get strep often. My daughter (3yo) has strep, and she had it a month ago, which was the first time she ever took antibiotics. She is bH very healthy in general. She is friends with someone who's family always seems to have strep so I'm assuming she catches it from them.
Are there some kids that just always catch strep, she's been exposed to and around other children since she was little but has never had so much as an ear infection, until a month ago and now.

Some adults get it repeatedly too. It's a matter of immunities.

It's only a problem if it's more than 4-6 cases a year. If she has it that much, it's worth seeing an ENT.

My daughter, age 7, gets strep very often too. In her case the solution now is doing surgery to remove her tonsils. You might want to mention it to the dr, she might have enlarged tonsils and that is whats causing it. There is a cortisone pill available that my dr offered me which is supposed to shrink the tonsils so u dont have to undergo surgery.

Talk to your dr.
