brooklyn college
queens college
touro college
liu
hunter college
st. john's
lehman college
city college (I think)
marymount
columbia
nyu
hofstra

there's more...

in addition, the NYC teaching fellows are actively seeking people to serve in next years cohort (to begin the masters in the summer of '11) in special education and science. it's a great, once in a lifetime opportunity for the right person.

I can't understand WHY TF is always so actively recruiting when there are already more qualified applicants than jobs! Confused

2 reasons:

1) there are actually plenty of job openings in district 75 schools, where many certified teachers are not willing to work.

2) the city committed money to this program and bloomberg is keen on revolutionizing public education in the new york. he also will not admit that he was wrong.
