Would like to try this recipe. Does anyone know if it uses a regular size bundt pan? It says 4 servings thats why I am a little confused!

Can I replace the vodka for anything else. I don't have and don't feel like buying.

It's so good, you can only share it amongst 4 people!

Is this really supposed to serve 4? If so, what size bundt pan do you use????

I think that refers to the pudding package size. It's a four serving pkg of pudding mix.

I use my regular big bundt pan. Standard size. I've made this cake a million times. I've used all vodka, or replaced the amaretto with choco liquor, or used choco instant pudding instead of vanilla - so many variations. This cake is a no fail, easy, delicious cake. It is moist & stays fresh under my cake dome for a while. Its pretty heavy so you can serve thin slices, otherwise it'll disappear real fast. I think the alcohol evaporates during the baking & you're left with the flavor alone. My kids eat it w/o a problem.

I wont keep you in suspense any longer.
I posted this recipe when imamother was very new, so when Yael redid the site (years ago) she reposted the recipe as posted by 'recipe'
The cake does NOT serve 4, or I should say it really could, since it could be so addictive. Every time I send this cake to someone, I always get called for the recipe.

I feel weird bumping up such an old thread. Someone linked to this in a thread today and I have this recipe with a great glaze that goes with it. I figured it's better to add it directly to this thread rather than the new thread. Apologies for the breach in "etiquette" by bumping up a 12 year old thread, but the glaze it worth it Smile

Amaretto Glaze (for Amaretto cake in OP)
1 cup confectioners sugar
1 Tbsp. orange juice
1 Tbsp. Amaretto liquor
1 tsp. Vodka

Mix together well and drizzle over the cake after removing it from the Bundt pan
