I went to va bene when I was dating DH. I wasn't that impressed (I'm a dairy freak though and a huge foodie so I'm very picky), especially for the prices. I'm not such a fan of my most favorite desserts either. they're both ok. gusta va mare is excellent.

I would also have to say Va Bene. It's got that more "special" feel to it, and it's nicer than My Most Favorite.

Va Benne has a nice romantic ambience- dim lighting, etc... We enjoyed going there 6 years ago when we were dating...

va benne is really the only "fancy" dairy restaurant in the city. I think the food is delicious.

Va Benne and My most favorite dessert co I tried them both and liked the food by both. I did find the portion size at va bene to be on the small side but the creme brulee was delicious mmmm to have a creme brulee now

va benne is awesome! but if I recall correctly, they dont accept credit cards, or maybe not all credit cards, so either check b4 u go, or make sure u bring cash with u

was at Va Bene last week - food was delicious. we didnt even have room for their yummy dessert.

They accept only AmEx.

My Favorite Food (aka favorite dessert company) is a great place to have coffee in midtown. They have really good baked goods, as well as really good desserts. They are on 45th between 6th and 7th (right near Times Square)
