are you looking specifically for "This type" (gay best friend) or just any comedy? cuz if its true funny shows you want, I can name quite a few! (no laugh tracks either!)

I am looking for a cute show, young people in it, not a show where u have to giggle all the time. I am gonna list some of the ones I like and I am looking for something similiar and preferably one that is already finished and has a few seasons.

The OC
One tree hill
Desperate housewives
brothers and sisters
gossip girl

those are more 'drama' type- did you try Vampire Diaries? I havent watched all yet, they're already up to season 2 I believe, or finished it? that's young. not much comic relief in it. and while on the vampire thread..there's always Buffy! about 7 seasons worth to catch up on, too!
