Don't know about brooklyn but Piccolino in Lakewood is supposed to have really good prices and a website (pishposhbaby.com I think)and they deliver everywhere I think. We never got a bunk bed but we did get all our baby stuff from them.

We got a bunkbed from costco a few years ago and it still looks brand new, don't know if there is a costco near you but you can check the website or in store they usually have a few options.

Good Luck!

We just bought a really nice bunk bed from katzfurniture.com (well I called LOL).

Basically, you find what you want brand wise (look on their website or ask for recommendations) and then they tell you the price. Their prices are amazing.

We've had the metal bunk beds from Ikea ("Treso" or something similar, I think) for about 8 years, and they've held up perfectly.

Thank you all so much for your help!

For those that have the IKEA bunk bed, does it separate into two twin beds? From the web site, it looks like it doesn't.

Also, any recommendations as to where to buy a mattress for a bunk bed?
