I think its under the OK. there is a Lubavitch guy there all the time, don't know if he is owner/mashgiach. you can call them and ask.

That guy is the Mashgiach. I think it might be under the Va'ad. I've eaten there numerous times. Their food is good and it's not expensive.

It opened about 12 years ago. We love their food, but take out is better because it's not a beautiful place. I always see a mashgiach there. Does that mean anything? Don't know. It used to be under the vaad of flatbush, but now I don't know.

its very cheap- we can do 2 big main dishes and a soup or appetizer for 30-35 and have leftovers for lunch or last time we did 2 small main dishes-you can chose sizes, and an appetizer and I think was just 20. we finished it down to the bottom, no leftovers but we ddn't stay hungry

Food is very good, especially their soup. Very well priced. Very good value for the money. We eat there all the time, there is always a mashgiach there. You can speak to him.
Their chicken is excellent, and the food is usually fresh. You can request they cook it however you want it.

He is not Lubavitch Smile (Unless they changed their Mashgiach Tmidi recently, and I didn't know about that.)

Great cheap authentic Chinese food!
Great place for take-out. Place itself is pretty shabby.

I guess you weren't there for a while or maybe I'm stereotyping?

Sorry bnm. You were right!
I just called and the Mashgiach was not the older gentleman I knew.
The Hashgacha is under the OK, Rabbi Levy.

I don't live nearby but somehow that is one of the most reasonable places to eat out so we go there. used to go a lot more often, we alternate that and the shwarma place with refillable drinks.. last time we did just takeout, was very good. you know you are there too often when your 2 year old requests 'Chinese'

Which schwarma place, and do they offer free delivery?
(Did you ever try Subsational on 13th? Great prices.)

we never asked about delivery, they are on Coney Island in Flatbush... I ate lunch at Subsastional one or twice, wasn't too happy, maybe I ordered the wrong things? do you have any recommendations?

Their pastrami on club is great. That's what we basically order when we go there. That's what we like. We really really dislike take-out food.
(WHEN we go. It's basically homemade food every day of the year here.)
It's the place to go for deli on club. Best sandwiches. Best prices.

My two year old would ask for "ton soup" for breakfast, we definitely ate chinese food too often.

Right now I love carlos and gabbys for their delicious egg rolls, chabibi is my favorite, filled with schwarma.
Also they make the best chicken nuggets and chicken/avocado wraps.
Very reasonably priced for all their choices.

she gets all excited about sushi, chinese and every time we go past kosher delight she pulls me in that direction. that's what happens when your mother is allergic to milk and fish and your being kept off it till age 3....

My grandchildren and kids love sushi.
In Miami there is a new restaurant with sushi all you can eat twice a week. They can't wait to go there.
