Did your pediatrician already send off all of the standard stool cultures? If not, do that today while you are getting the info and making/waiting for your appointment for the gastro. Doesn't your pediatrician have anyone to recommend?

My pediatrician gave me Zofran to prevent nausea and vomiting.
(She was throwing up alot too!)
He told me not to worry about the diharea!! Rolling Eyes

I AM worried about it. I dont think it's the norm!

my son had this- he had diareeah from june till aug.
the ped. ordered every stool test possible, and they all came back negative, which made him say it was rotavirus.

he was super cranky, had parched lips, drank everything in sight, including pointing to the fishtank and wanting to drink that LOL his stool was a really watery and he had a bad rash as long as I didn't protect the skin with a cream. or even jsut vaseline.

I called it the summer of poop.

did your ped order any stool tests?
if he did not then just ask him.
good luck, and everywhere you go take water bottles.
