Can someone help me please?
I must buy myself private health insurance and all the agents I spoke to only deal with groups. My husband is currently unemployed so we have no choice of getting through his company.
Has anyone bought medical insurance through an agent/broker that is able to sell to a single person without a group. I would like to buy HIP but at this point I'll take any plan available.
Please don't suggest medicaid, because although we are eligible, I can't wait 2 months for it to go through.

Nachas Healthnet. They'r in Boro Park, don't know number though. You can get low cost health insurance, that's way better than medicaid.

I have HIP Child Health Plus for my kids and haven't had a problem yet.

We just switched from HIP (because of changed jobs) and we had no problems with HIP. In fact, we now have Oxford (which is known to be good) and there is very little difference in the plans!

I had HIP before I got married because it was the cheepest that I could find. I got it directly through HIP.
