mmec123 - can you check behind the Cover? not on the container, and it's only on the quaker brand.
Defy- good idea, I will check

Yael posted a good receipe for oatmeal cookies a while back. I just made them for the first time yesterday and they were really good. Hint: (if you do make them) they are better with juice than with honey - I tried them both ways.

I have it and its really delicious!! Here it is:

1 cup (2 sticks) margarine or butter, softened
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon (I made without and was very good)
1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
3 cups Quaker oats
1 cup raisons (or choclate chips)

Heat oven to 350*
Beat together margarine and sugars until creamy
Add eggs and vanilla; beat well
add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; mix well
Stir in oats and raisons (or choclate chips)
Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet
Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown
Cool 1 minutes on cooke sheet; remove to wire rack
Makes about 4 dozen

For bar cookies, Bake 30-35 minutes in ungreased 9x13 metal baking pan

I let the cookies bake for a little less to keep them chewy and they came out heaven!!!

Enjoy!!!

Send me some!!
