The Waldbaums is now a BigY.
They have an in-store glatt kosher deli that is certified by the Vaad Hakashrus of Hartford (HKC).
The have cold cuts, a wide range of salads, shnitzel, etc.
They have a bakery that has a parve section and a non-cholov Yisroel section.
Also, they have an on-site butcher & their meat prices are the lowest we have found anywhere.

As far as Yosi's catering, he is also certified by the HKC.

Mitzvahmom,

The BigY kosher deli sells Shuman-made food, so you can get his stuff at the supermarket.

awesome, but if his deli is open, why not go and eat?? I used to live there I know how difficult it is for kosher businesses to survive..

the supermarket is on the same road as the place my husband has to go so that would be perfect. I'm packing him tuna and crackers just in case. I hope he gets himself some food to supplement.

In case anyone is still reading this post, we have Cholev Yisroel Yossi pizza available at Beth David on Dover Road Thursday and Sunday nights. You can eat there or takeout. Yossi employs Autistic teenagers and the pizza is fantastic. I think it's called Taste of Life.
