I suppose this thread is for people who think that MM has got totally out of hand and over the top in recent years. Please share your ideas of simple MM that contain only two foods.
I'll start the ball rolling:

Cookies+milk
Crackers+cheese
Crackers+choumous
Corn/taco chips+matbucha
Ice cream tub+cones
Soup+croutons
A bag of pitta+a tub of falafel balls

Please contribute your ideas of practical two-food ideas that are inexpensive and will actually get eaten unlike the mounds of candy!

I like sending things that can be used for the seuda so I generally send a mini kugel and a small salad. Challah rolls, little wine/grape juice are another good one. I once got little deli roll pinwheels and pickles, that was cute.

I did this last year and I loved it bec. it was so easy, and still classy and nice looking.
I wrapped up with cellophane a bottle of wine with little silver or gold wrapped candies. I tied it with a big ribbon and it was great.

I have a couple of friends who give the same thing every year no matter what, and we love it every year, no matter what

cut up vegetable sticks and bread sticks (she throws in a small little thing of dip for good measure)
2 challah rolls and a bottle of grape juice

I am not sure that coffee - definately not the granules but even already brewed - can be considered as a min.

I once got 2 oatmeal cookies with milk. It was a type of milk that didn't have to be refrigerated (I think it was called rice milk).

I do some kind of cookies and then either a box of raisins or an apple.

Growing up my mother made a cinnamon bun with a small bottle of grape juice.

Small fruit/veggie platter with a cup of dip in middle. Was inexpensive, easy, and pretty. Maybe I'll do it again this year!
