The networks all have their comedy shows on different nights -

FOX: Tuesday night -- Glee, Raising Hope and Traffic Lights

ABC: Wednesday night -- Modern Family

NBC: Thursday night -- 6 shows in a row, don't remember the order, but there's Community, the Office, 30 Rock, Outsourced, Parks and Recreation...

and motzei Shabbos on hulu, I can get Fringe (Fringe airs on Friday nights). Awesome show.

Fringe is science-fictiony (with science veering toward the impossible, while keeping a straight face, not campy at all), with WONDERFULLY rounded characters played by incredibly talented actors.
Warning, though -- some gore and MANY drug references. One of the mad scientist characters does his best work when he's high, and he constantly references the 70s.

Monday: Chuck (fun show), and then Being Human on syfy (a bit gorey but ignoring the gore, it has an interesting perspective on 'life')

Tues: Biggest Loser and Being Human

Wednesday: Law and order: SVU, and Psyche when its on

Thursday: Outsourced, and Royal Pains when its on

Fri (recorded for after Shabbos): Merlin, Smallville, The Defenders
