I've been wondering the same thing. I stopped watching the show though. I think that if I keep watching I will just be disappointed with the ending.

Well, the series are based on a series of book, at the end of which you find out who A is. So if you really want to know, you could always google. I actually read the books (because I have nothing better to do... lol) bc the suspense was killing me.
I don't know if the show will stay faithful to the book, but I hope it does...
