I am an avid nail biter and put on acrylics for a big interview --- now I need to do my mikvah prep and just realized I have no idea what to do with these...

soak your fingers in nail polish remover. this is how I removed my fake nails. But it takes a long time. I had to soak each hand for more than an hour!

Depends on your mikvah and your LOR. The one in my neighborhood allows it, but I know I'm in the minority. But if you need to take them off, pay the ten dollars and have the nail salon do it. Theres' tons of glue, residual acrylic left on, etc. PS Hope the interview went well!

I used to go to the nail salon at least 1-2 days before since even they couldn't get it all off and I wanted time to remove any residue. Keep that in kind for future
To remove at home, I soaked it in pure acetone. Nail polish remover was too weak to really melt the acrylics.
I never toiled with acrylic nails
