Anyone here with a glass top oven/stove? What do you do for yom tom? I think the glass will break if I keep it on for too long .. Maybe a hot plate? what do you ladies do with an electric glass top?

I have one. I always leave it on over yom tov and haven't had a problem.

You have to test it before and see what happens. Try leaving a burner on low for an hour and see if it gets way too hot. My mother just got a smooth top oven and she tried it on low and it got way way too hot, it didn't look safe, the burner got all red, and the knobs for the oven above looked like they might melt.
You can buy a single electric burner maybe just for yomtov.
