I was offered the opportunity to design a tri-fold brochure for a company. I would be responsible for layout, graphics, fonts etc (they would provide the text). Since I have never done something like this before, I have no idea how much to charge. What is the usual rate for a job like this (per hour or a flat fee)?

Thank you!

I would charge a per hour rate. I've done several projects like this in the past and they always take longer than expected. Charge your usual rate and then you won't feel resentful if they come back with a lot of changes over and over, keep adding content, etc.
