The world is a classroom.
Everywhere you go there are things to learn.
Everything that you see, hear or experience is a learning opportunity.
And the more that is learned, the more appreciation you could have of the beautiful world we live in.
The world is full of shapes.
Every object is made of shapes.
Sometimes the shapes are obvious.
Sometimes it is necessary to look at a strange angle in order to see the shapes.
The world is full of lines.
Some lines are part of shapes.
Some lines don't lead to anything.
Its okay to walk along a line to see if its part of a shape.
The world is full of sounds.
Some sounds have meanings.
Some sounds seem funny or strange.
By repeating sounds, its easier to understand what they mean.
The world is full of surprising lessons.
Did you know that the back of a traffic light is the same color as a school bus?
Did you know that the floor in front of the washing machine vibrates?
Are you aware that a black line runs along the edge of the sidewalk?
The world is a classroom.
All classrooms have teachers.
I am very lucky that I have a two-year-old with PDD as my teacher
as he makes me aware of all the lessons that I run past every day without internalizing.
