Farmer cheese and sour cream are great together. Just mix and eat.
Farmer cheese is also great on pasta.

Can you share how you would make that? I also have farmer cheese to kill but I don't like baked foods so this sounds more what I am looking for!

I just toss cooked egg noodles with sour cream, crumbled farmer (or pot) cheese, salt and pepper. It's one of my favorite comfort foods.

With Farmer cheese, you can make Lasagna - I mix cottage cheese, farmer cheese and mozzerella and an egg and seasoning for the filling.
Also there is "mock cheese knishes" on this site.
There are some pound cakes that use sour cream, I don't have a recipe, but maybe you can find with google.

My favorite: farmer cheese mixed with diced tomato, black pepper and salt. Delicious and filling.

I use those ingredients for lasagna too! that's what I would suggest.

I once ordered mac and cheese at a luncheonette in manhattan (going back 25+ years ago). I got a plate of pasta with a slice of farmer cheese on top. I've been hooked ever since. No extra work involved!

Just drain the noodles, put back in the warm pot and toss. Sour cream curdles if it boils.

I'm not a fan of sour cream but I need to rid my farmer cheese. So is it OK if I just mix it with regular cheddar cheese and sauce?

The Best Cheese Cake:
1 lb farmer cheese
1 small sour cream (8oz)
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp orange juice
3 Tbs flour
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla sugar
Mix it all together (by hand) bake on 350 for about 1/2 hour or till a toothpick comes out clean.
This fills 1 1/2 ready bought pie crusts, so I usually make double recipe and fill 3.
