I have not purchased AMI in past few months and curious what is hap'g in this serial. Last I read, the mother was home (on bail?)

| Well, something has finally happened! The jury found the protagonist guilty. She went to jail. She realized she's pregnant. Last week, at the end of the page, the twist appeared at last, that the jury may have been tainted because the nurse that hated Shaina was related to a juror. Can't wait to read this week's edition to find out what happens next!

| Spoiler - she had a baby girl but had to give it to her MIL to raise. It's very sad.

| I actually stopped buying the AMI because of that story... too depressing, slow moving.... the opposite of an enjoyable shabbos read...

still ongoing. the new baby the main character had, is having the same symptoms as the first one... we'll probably find out it's some metabolic disorder & she'll go free..

| Tikva was diagnosed with a metabolic disorder and the doctors begin treating her. Shaina is given a retrial.

| They were able to prove that Yosef had a genetic disease that made it appear that he was poisoned by antifreese. The charges against Shaina were dropped.l

It wasn't antifreeze. The metabolic disorder produces metabolites that look like antifreeze on blood tests. As crazy as that sounds, that's a real disorder and this has really happened in the past.
