Have any of you been to a simcha at the Jewish Childrens Museum? How did you like it?

You know what? The basement isn't that nice. If you use a room upstairs, it's much nicer.

This is the one on Eastern Parkway, right?
If so, I went to a wedding there last year. The chuppah was outdoors and the sun was setting right in my eyes so I could hardly see the chosson and kallah and I had a headache by the time we went inside. Also there were tons of gawkers/passersby who stopped to watch and were practically in the wedding, they were that close. It was an odd choice to me but maybe that's somebody's cup of tea. Imagine having your chuppah at a sidewalk cafe.
The dinner, however, was very nice. It was upstairs and the room was quite nicely done. Plenty of room for dancing.

I've been to a few different simchas in the JCM. Personally I think that for a lechaim or a bar mitzvah its can really be a beutiful event, for a wedding tho Ive seen nicer...

What does a place like that cost per couple for a small wedding?
