I am crying I cant sleep I have such a knot in my stomach.
I did some work in my house and we slept in the house those nights and there was a smell - a bad one but it was not as strong as it was in the morning because during the day we aired the house out and kept the kids outside of the house. But we slept in the house while there was a smell - can there be a smell but the fumes be gone because we aired out the house? And what was done had pretty much dried?

I am so upset that I did this and exposed my children to something potentially bad. Please help me calm down and I really hope my kids will be okay.

Long term exposure is usually where problems arise. Relax! You can make yourself nuts. Just try to be more careful in the future, but please dont stress. The fact that you are even freaking out shows that you are probably usually careful about what you expose them to. Usually is usually good enough Wink

Thank you. That was very reassuring as I have been losing sleep and crying over this.
The chemical was polyurethane which I keep reading up on as being so bad.
