When buying a house, what would it be?
Is there anything you wish you would have done differently when buying/moving into your house?
We are IY"H closing next month and I want to make sure that we cover all our bases, especially as first time home buyers so if there is any advice/tips- please enlighten me!!
Thanks!

I was really sorry we didn't get a good paint job before we moved in.Ours came with flat paint and it looked terrible from Day One.

It is a bit late to make sure you have good neighbors, but I think that that is one of the most important things in a house.

Thanks for your feedback!
This house was built in 1960 and everything in it looks like it has not been updated since then! I welcome the challenge of remodeling but the whole project is a tad overwhelming....
I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything in this whole process.... (so far all I'm missing is all the money to do the renovations right now, as opposed to over the next couple of years....)

It's like having a baby, take it one day at a time, it is very overwhelming.

I would have made sure we were in the right neighborhood for us.

What kind of things would you have checked out in the neighborhood before moving in?
