Can you tell which hotels are the nicest in Eilat?
Dh and I have never been to Israel yet together, and we are going on a short trip iyH. I'd like a really nice hotel for the few days we will be in Eilat. Really nice.

Make sure you check the news before you go. There's still a lot of Egyptian hostility in that area. I know the road down there was closed off for a while.

queen of sheba. sooooo beautiful. go visit ir hamalchus ( think thats what its called) its great with kids, or just with ur spouse. go down to the beach and try parasailing, or paragliding, or jetskiing. theres lots of activities to do - great fun.

We looked into the Hilton Queen of Shiba. Thanks!
I think we'll go with the Dan Eilat even though it is more expensive.

So you're saying the Hilton Queen of Shiba is nicer than the Dan Eilat?

Should we switch our reservation from the Dan to the Hilton?
We were impressed by what we saw online for the Dan.

I spoke to my husband just to make sure my memory was right. the hilton was way nicer, but my husband reminded me that we're hilton honors members and we got an upgrade. as for the dan - it was amazing, and like I said before, the breakfast was out of this world!!!!

The Dan is right by the sea, with beaches and boat rentals.

We stayed in the King Solomon and were very happy. BTW - we booked through a travel agency C Travel - and the rates we got were a lot cheaper than the rates the hotel offered through reservations. There is also a tourist attraction desk when you come in and they were very helpful, and if you buy tickets to attractions from the desk, it's cheaper than at the attraction itself. And check out the dolphin reef - it's amazing!!!!!!
