I know the Rav Hamachshir for sweetleaf stevia, the powder form...the hechsher is the apple-k (specializing in organic and natural foods. )

its an excellent hechsher with very high standards, just a FYI. 8)

Does anyone know where Stevia is available with a hechsher?
I'd prefer to find it in a store, not online, to save on shipping costs.
I think the one at Trader Joe's used to have a hechsher, but the last time I looked at it there wasn't one. Any ideas? (I live in the mid-west.)
Thanks!

I don't even know what stevia is... but if it's a bio/organic stuff... it's like most bio stuff, you won't find them hechshered or in a Jewish shop... I would try online.

I use a Stevia with a hechsher, but they put it in something they call "light-sugar" (w/ 50% of the calories of reg. sugar).

The brand´s name is Incauca. It comes with KSA.

If it NEEDS a hechsher, I don´t know, maybe call the OU?

I used to use Sunrider's stevia. It was pretty good. It has a hechsher. But you can't get it in stores (it's MLM).

I buy liquid stevia online with a kof K hashgacha and it was cheaper buying it online, with the shipping, than it was when I bought the same thing four years earlier at Whole Foods.

Thanks for the tip!
Would you mind if I ask where you ordered from online?

The last time I ordered was from IHerb.com and the bottle including shipping was less than $13. This was back in November. If you are making a purchase, always remember to google a discount coupon for the vendor you are purchasing from - sometimes you get lucky!
