I got an eyebrow waxing some time ago.
While it stayed nice longer than just going with the twizzer, I noticed some of the hair were "up" instead of "lying down", and I had to cut them short. It wasn't that way before. Any idea why??

did she thin out your eyebrows? It could be they were there but not noticable before and once you hda it waxed it showed up.
Don't trim, it doesn't look natural.
Both I and DD have some hair that sticks up and I don't mind it. I get annoyed when the waxing ladies try to trim it because I don't like the look of it trimmed and prefer it the way it grows.
I think it gives some character but then again I haven't seen your eyebrows so I can't say for certain

My eyebrows already had a line, she removed the hairs out of the "shape". It is actually thicker than what I often do.
The problem is, if I pluck every hair that looks "raised" now, I would end up with too thin brows...

Don't know why that happened, but you can also use a little clear mascara and run it through your brows to get them to stay down, if you don't want to cut them.
